Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for production operatives in Catterick , this role is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person ,

Starting Hourly rates £11.50
39 hours a week
Monday to Thursday - 8-4-30
Friday - 8- 3-30

Set up and adjust production polyurethane and foam machines, and monitor them for most economical use and report issues immediately to the production manager. Load chemicals into machines either by hand or using lifting equipment and fork lift trucks. Act as a link in a chain that involves manufacturing processes and other operators. Test and measure finished products, and record activities and manufacturing levels.

Ability to follow written and spoken instructions
Communication skills - ability to understand and communicate information is essential
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Excellent Team working skills
Ability to work quickly and methodically
Capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely
Ability to use necessary tools and machines
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, including polyurethane and foam.
UK Full Driving Licence

Nice to Haves
QA/QC experience/Product Inspection
Understanding of manufacturing drawings
Forklift Truck Licence
First Aid Certificate
