Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm & Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm

Salary: £12.19/hr

We are recruiting for a skilled machine operative to operate a sawmill in a clean and bright manufacturing environment. The company is a successful growing employer that can offer a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate along with ongoing training and development opportunities within the business. The role is based within a tight knit friendly team and interviews will be scheduled immediately!

Job Description:

• Set up and operate machines to cut material
• Read drawings to determine the correct measurements
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Prior experience setting and operating a sawmill
• Ability to read drawings
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
