Production Manager

The Studio

A leading design and production studio with a reputation for delivering world class window schemes, installations, and brand activations for some of the most well-loved, luxury fashion and retail brands around. Projects are managed from beginning to end and the in-house workshop oversees every element of the manufacturing and production process, including carpentry, model/prop making and scenic work. Due to the nature of the role, this person would be mainly studio based for collaboration and oversight of the work.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an established Production Manager with core experience in workshop management and a deep understanding of how to build, make and deliver outstanding displays for windows, in-store pop-ups, and events. You’ll be managing timelines, budgets and project crews and will have overall responsibility for the project build and quality control, so will need to be knowledgeable about the build process and all that involves. You’ll probably touch most projects coming through the Studio and will have valuable input defining the approach and planning the production schedule, reviewing risks, and determining the resources required. This is a fast-paced and rewarding environment where you’ll get exposure to some global brands and produce work that you’re proud of.

Our ideal candidate

Will need experience in a similar studio environment and be used to working across a number of different projects at a time.

Should have a deep understanding of the technical build process and how the work is made.

Is confident planning, coordinating, and controlling the production process of all projects, including briefing departments/crew and monitoring production standards.

Has significant experience working on window displays, pop-ups, events and installations for fashion, retail, and lifestyle brands.

Can confidently manage the set-up of displays and builds before they leave the studio for installation.
