The Client

Harmonic is excited to be working exclusively with a fast-growth chocolate startup that is looking for a production manager to join its growing team.

Sold in John Lewis, Selfridges and Fenwick and featured on TV programs such as This Morning, this luxury chocolate brand has made a big impact in the chocolate market in the UK. Having both a strong ecommerce presence and retail sales, the startup is growing and expanding its product line with vegan and environmentally friendly chocolate products. The business uses the highest quality chocolate products and everything is made in the UK.

The culture of the business is one that is non corporate, innovative, and collaborative and is excited to be growing and continuing to make a dent in the competitive chocolate.

The Role:

This production manager will be a key part of the operations team and will report into the Operations Director and work alongside the founder. The role has scope to grow and is perfect for someone who is looking to step up into a more senior leadership position.

Duties:

• Manage the production team and have around 20 reporting into you.
• Oversee the chocolate production process ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies in order to optimize processes.
• Work cross functionally within the operations team including packing, supply chain and quality control.
• Train and oversee production staff.
• Monitor production schedules in order to meet all deadlines.
• Hours would be 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday.

What our client would like to see (Essential Experience):

• 2-3 years of production planning/manager experience.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Experience with food production.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

What we would like to see (Non-Essential Experience):

• Chocolate production experience.
• Startup experience.

Salary: £35,000- £50,000
