Job Outline:

Due to continued growth, my client who is a leading developer and manufacturer of Test & Measurement Instrumentation, now seeks a Production/Manufacturing Engineer to join their team.

Based at my client’s development and manufacturing facility in Nottingham, you will drive continuous improvement across all aspects of product manufacture, from best practice for solder joints to determining and implementing any necessary in-process functional testing.

By taking a Pro-active approach, you will actively identify and implement process improvement activities, providing high quality training to the manufacturing team where necessary.

In addition to this you will also be working with the design team to lead the implementation of new products into production.

My client supplies many custom products so a background in both electrical and mechanical manufacture will help to inform the design team.

On a daily basis you will be working with all aspects of my client’s team, from shop floor to senior management, and it is therefore expected that you will be an excellent communicator who can write and speak well, and maintain positive relationships with staff, suppliers and customers.

Experience:

It is expected that you will have a minimum of an HND or equivalent in electronic / electrical engineering or related area.

It is also expected that you will have proven background in a similar role such as Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Process Engineer.
