Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Production Engineer on a 6 month contract basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver in some key production projects in a fast paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The Production Engineer duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Support a number of insource projects from other manufacturing site across the UK to begin production in Sheffield
  • Provide production engineering support through all areas of manufacturing
  • Identify areas of improvement of existing production processes
  • Generate CAD designs for process solutions including jigs, fixtures
  • Develop process control and improvement if existing processes
  • Review manufacturing cell layout and machinery location for production efficiency
  • Create SOP's
  • Effectively integrate EdgeCam into the NPI process to reduce overall throughput time

We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery and processes including G Code - CIMCO and Edgecam Programming
  • Solid understanding of NPI processes and design for jigs and fixtures
  • Experience in working with valves and pressurised test equipment is highly desirable
  • Proficient in CAD
