Overtime at 1.5x salary.

Mon to Fri - 8am-4pm.

25 days + bank holiday.

Manchester Staff is working with a client who has been established for over 50 years & are opening a new factory. There is scope for this company to triple in size over the next 3 years, the opportunity is for an experienced Engineer to join in at the ground floor and as the company grows you can grow with it, whether that is more senior roles or building your own team.

The successful candidate will have experience in a production/ manufacturing environment with experience of managing a small team. The Production Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day running of the factories production line is completed cost & time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with internal production staff & external supply partners to optimise manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards.
• Driving & implementing new processes to maximise efficiency with the best quality at the lowest cost.
• Planning production schedules to ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Maintaining equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operation & minimize disruptions.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for you & your team, assessing risk before production cycles.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Managing the production team.
• Reporting accurate records of production processes such as volumes, quality control measures & equipment logs.
