Job Title: Production Assembly Operative

A permanent position for a Production Assembly Operative has arisen at our busy facilities based in Kitts Green, Birmingham. B33.

Location: Birmingham, B33

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Contracted Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM, 37.5hrs per week. Working overtime as and when required

Salary: £11.50 per hour. Hourly rate may increase after the trial period and full training, depending on the skills learned and developed. Overtime rate will be at a time and a half the basic hourly rate

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly of our environmental security enclosure product range, with extensive use of a variety of hand/power tools, to excellent quality standards
• Electrical assembly and wiring of products to excellent quality standards
• Electrical testing of product range
• Ability to interpret works orders and accurately complete details of product builds/packaging dimensions
• Ensuring assembly times and production priorities are achieved. Some lifting required
• Adherence to good working practices, quality standards, health & safety rules and company procedures
• Maintain excellent order of work area and general Housekeeping

Knowledge and experience in wiring of electrical components is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
