Scientific Infra & Private Assets Ltd (SIPA) is the corporate arm of the EDHEC Infrastructure & Private Assets Research Institute (EIRA) at EDHEC Business School, an ESMA-recognised index provider, specialised in providing market index, benchmarks and comparables to investors in private markets, including unlisted infrastructure equity, private infrastructure debt and private equity. SIPA provides bottom-up, asset-level metrics of the risk and performance of investments in unlisted companies and their debt, as well as advanced measures of the climate impacts and risks of infrastructure assets worldwide.

Today, users of SIPA data include major investors, asset managers and consultants and represent several hundred billion USD of assets under management (AUM).

SIPA is now hiring two product specialists in its commercial team based in London, and one new Sales Executive position based in the US or London.

SIPA is based in Singapore and London.

Role:

This is an opportunity to join a growing and global team that is bringing new and disruptive products to the private asset investment sector with previously unavailable data that tracks the performance and risks of private and real assets (infrastructure).

This role, reporting to the head of business development, is dedicated to supporting the sales function for the promotion of the infrastructure and private equity index and analytics offerings of SIPA.

Requirements:

Candidates are expected to have a deep knowledge and substantial experience of the buy-side, including the strategy, risk and investment functions of pension plans, insurers, sovereign funds, etc. who are the some of the key users of SIPA data and market indices. Additional experience in the wealth management and family offices sector is a plus.

The product specialist will prepare presentations of the financial and non-financial data produced by SIPA, discuss use cases with clients and prospects, identify potential proposals for the sales team and present SIPA products in various fora. Client meetings, presentations and preparation of RFP responses are all be an integral part of the role,

This position requires a strong analytical and quantitative background. A degree in finance is a plus but not strictly required. Commercial experience in private equity, asset management or investment banking, an index provider or an investment consultant will also be necessary to fill this role.

This is a full-time, on-going position.

Remuneration is competitive and includes a bonus for meeting performance objectives.
