This retailer is seeking a passionate and experienced Digital Product Owner to join their team to lead the development of a new native mobile application. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in defining, developing, and launching mobile apps that meet user needs and business goals. They will also have a deep understanding of user-centred design principles and agile development methodologies.

The role is based in Yorkshire, and the working pattern is hybrid with 3 days / week in the office.

Main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Understand the company's overall business objectives and translate them into a clear product vision.
  • Conduct market research and user analysis to identify user needs and opportunities.
  • Develop a product roadmap that outlines the product's evolution over time.
  • Prioritise product features and backlog items based on user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.
  • Collaborate with the development team to estimate and track the completion of product features.
  • Collaborate with designers to create user-friendly and engaging product experiences.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to ensure that products meet user needs.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Communicate product performance insights to stakeholders and make data-driven decisions about product development.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching digital products.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with product analytics tools and methodologies.
