Product/Industrial Design Engineer

Are you a Product Designer Engineer looking for a new position in Fordingbridge, Hampshire?

My client has been established for over 40 years and has an enviable reputation as a successful electronics OEM business and design consultancy. They design a variety of PCBs, Box builds and more for clients all over the world.

The ideal Product Design Engineer will have a good background in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & proficient in 3D design using Solidworks or similar tools. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience and BA/BSc in Industrial or Product Design.

The Product Design Engineer based in Fordingbridge, Hampshire will have a blend of the following skills and experience:

• Developing new products from concept, using sketching
• Knowledge of plastics, properties & design principles
• Keep up to date by researching new processes & technologies
• Continually improve existing products
• 3D design & generation of production ready drawings in Solidworks
• Shaping new product roadmap, generating new products ideas and seeing them come to fruition
• Liaise with our manufacturing teams in the UK and Far East to see your products safely into full scale production.
• A focus on Design for Manufacture
• Work within our multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of design briefs
