Position: Product Engineer

Location: Derbyshire or London (Remote Working)

Salary: £Negotiable

Sector: Chemicals

The Role:

  • Lead project management for an extensive range of international approvals and test programs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and chemists to enhance existing products and develop new product and packaging systems.
  • Engage in product testing and approval processes, both in-house and through external laboratories in the USA and Europe.
  • Provide technical data and support to customers and Business Development Managers.
  • Keep abreast of technical developments in structural codes and construction industry practices.
  • Conduct research to understand the technical aspects of chemical anchoring and its applications.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
  • Work effectively both independently and within a team, maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural Engineering.
  • Experience in the construction industry, particularly with concrete and rebar applications.
  • Strong knowledge of structural concepts and practices.
  • Keen interest in niche engineering science and chemical anchoring.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive, self-directed learner with strong research capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with a diverse range of contacts.
