The Role

This is an excellent New Product Development Engineer, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field. Product Development Engineer will use their experience in the research, development and production of new products, experience designing and executing material tests, and familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 to run the process of product development from inception to sign off.
They will be working with a cross-functional team of Chemists, Engineers and Product Managers to develop and test new products to best fit their customers needs.

The Company

Product Development Engineer will join a producer of specially engineered elastomer products designed to fit their clients needs. The New Product Development Engineer will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern in place is fully on site at the Lincoln office, with occasional international travel to visit clients and conferences.

What’s Required?

The ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

• Strong experience in a research and development or production position, or experience as a rubber technologist
• Experience with commercial processing

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and experience with the techniques and equipment used in testing.

• Having a degree in Material Science or Chemical or Mechanical Engineering would also be advantageous
