We are working with this leading telecommunications business who are looking for an experienced Procurement Vendor Manager. This is a crucial role in driving supplier partnerships that deliver the best value, product, and service performance as the business service matures and expands into new markets.

You will develop long-term commercial partnerships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and resolving product or service-related issues. You will also coordinate with various cross-functional departments, maintain supplier records and databases, and build reports and surveys for tracking and auditing supplier programs.

Procurement Vendor Manager Responsibilities…
* Manage all selection, qualifying, and approval of suppliers and procurement activities.
* Be a point of contact for suppliers and manage the overarching business relationships across key vendors.
* Negotiate, formalise, and process supplier contracts, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee supplier contract performance and act as an escalation point for Risk Management
* Drive 'continuous improvement' with key suppliers.
* Give contractual and commercial advice to the business on procurement & supplier management.
* Support the onboarding of new suppliers.

Procurement Vendor Manager Experience…
* Previous experience managing multiple supplier and stakeholder relationships.
* Experience in managing supplier contracts for products or services.
* An understanding of business finance and numeracy.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and organised.
* Candidates will ideally have a background in procuring IT or telecommunications products or services.
* Working towards CIPS or relevant industry accreditation will be beneficial.
