Procurement Specialist
Job Description
- Carry out the subcontract and tender procurement process ensuring that as a business the subcontractor has everything in place to be able to work with the business.
- Preparation of ITT’s, obtain quotations/tenders, Subcontracts.
- Complete supplier evaluations for designated procurement exercises as required when bids are returned.
- Complete supplier negotiations and post tender/quotation meetings as required to enable short listing of suppliers.
- Ensure that projects do not start prior to the contracts being signed and agreed.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualification
- Experience carrying out a similar procurement position within the rail or civil engineering industries.
- Well-versed dealing with subcontractors.
- Strong engineering knowledge/the ability to interpret and see BOM’s (bills of material).
