Procurement Specialist | Permanent | £40,000 - £45,000 | Hybrid

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Sheffield to recruit a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis.

A strong background in public sector procurement, with an ability to run end to end tenders is required.

The role offers a hybrid working policy with main offices based in central Sheffield and a requirement to be on site two days per week.

Role:

  • Produce all procurement documentation for large and complex procurements
  • Assist colleagues as a ‘business partner’ with procurement processes and contract management
  • Work closely with Contract specialists, ensuring procurement requirements are translated into commercial contracts
  • Provide robust commercial advice and guidance to colleagues on all procurement matters

Individual:

  • Working knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 
  • Lead on OJEU/Find a tender projects
  • An ability to draft contracts
