We are looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist within a local authority within South Wales. The vacancy will be for an initial 6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE - 3 DAYS PER WEEK

Responsibilities include:

Key requirements:

  • Leading, directing and co-ordinating all sourcing activity for identified projects
  • Prepare tender documentation, analyse and evaluate tender responses up to the award of contracts
  • Must be self-motivated and have experience of leading and managing procurement processes within the public sector from end-to end, including practical application and understanding of the Public Contract Regulations 2015
  • Ability to work independently and have a track record of delivering results within set timescales.

Experience preferred:

Post qualifying experience of working within a Procurement setting

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years post qualifying experience within UK
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
