Procurement Specialist - Marketing

PROCUREMENT CATEGORY SPECIALIST - MARKETING - SURREY/ HYBRID - £60-70K + PACKAGE

This is a brand-new opportunity to join one of the leading global beverage brands, in a newly create role to manage an array of marketing spend! Since their inception in 1889, the company have developed and acquired new brands, enhancing their portfolio and their global presence.

This role is autonomously responsible for a £70m spend across social, creative agencies, partnerships and advertising across their European region with some global projects, however you will be part of a wider global team across UK, Italy, Germany, Czech and Poland.

The Procurement Category Specialist will be responsible for:

• Executing sourcing projects aligned to defined strategies to maximize value for the business striving for transactional and operational excellence.
• Creating insights using internal as well as external data to understand impact of market trends, competitors, and suppliers on internal business requirements.
• Build relationship with non-strategic suppliers, manage them actively and execute performance / quality controls.
• Participate in initiatives / projects relevant for category aiming at value creation / continuous improvement.
• Act as a change agent for continuous improvement in sourcing, governance, and value delivery.

The Procurement Category Specialist will have:

• 5+ years of professional experience, of which 2+ years in Procurement (with a focus on a marketing category)
• International experience (accountability for delivering outcomes to/in different countries)
• MS Office advanced
• Procurement platform/-s experience

This is a great opportunity for someone with either dedicated marketing procurement experience, or someone with some exposure in marketing procurement looking to develop their skillset.
