Procurement Specialist - 39548

Rate: £41.45/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)

12 month initial contract

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

As a Procurement Specialist, you will report to the Regional Purchasing Manager and manage the external supply chain from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all post sourcing and contract management activities for designated commodities and suppliers within your region.
  • Develop and execute key performance indicators across the designated regional suppliers, engaging with stakeholders and specialists within the Purchasing Function as required, ensuring supplier performance

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Procurement experience with a track record of delivering cost savings.
  • Ability to work independently, results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.
  • Experience in implementing and delivering procurement strategy with the focus on total value chain delivery.
  • MCIPS - desirable

Education

  • Degree qualified or equivalent procurement experience
