Our Public Sector client are looking for a Procurement and Contracts Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. 
This is full time role, working mostly from home although some office working in Warwick will be required - once a week would be ideal. 

The role and responsibilities:
- As a Procurement Officer you will deliver cost-effective and good quality services through robust contract management inline with the company's framework. 
- Development and maintenance of key partnerships with stakeholders to ensure effectively managed contracts.
- Ensure delivery of key contract benefits in line with agreed specifications and terms and conditions. 
- Assess and manage performance and processes for specific contracts. Reviewing where needed. 
- Manage operational level supplier relationships, making and following up on improvements plans where necessary. 
- Recommending contract revisions and terminations when needed, ensuring appropriate advice is taken and acted upon. 
- Risk management. 

What we are looking for:
- 5 + years in a Procurement / Contracts Officer position. Public Sector would be highly preferred. 
- CIPS / CIPFA / IACCM level 4 would be desirable. 
- Highly knowledgeable in effective contract management inc. legislation, guidance, contract compliance and risks. 
- Confident communication and negotiation skills.
