They design, install, and manage clean heat solutions which transfer heat from below the surface of the Earth to provide homes and buildings with sustainable heat and hot water. Currently owning and managing over 70 ground source networks and provide heat to more than 3,000 homes in the UK. Since their launching in 2012, they have developed a unique and highly efficient solution for de-carbonising homes and buildings.

They have curated a team of 30 highly-technical experts, merging experience from the investment, property, construction and renewable energy industries to create a unique business model and deliver a solution to the UK’s clean heat challenge. As our Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our procurement processes, ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials, and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. Your duties will include:

  • Procurement and purchasing to oversee the procurement of materials, subcontractor packages, plant, and equipment for projects, ensuring purchases align with project schedules to secure the best prices and timely delivery.
  • Supplier management to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating agreements to achieve favourable terms and cost savings. You will tender material packages to secure the best market prices and manage supplier agreements for long-term benefits.
  • Logistics management to manage logistics from procurement to on-site delivery/receipt, including coordination with operations staff to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
  • Hired equipment oversight to manage all hired equipment, including maintaining logs, monthly reviews to off-hire unused equipment, and ensuring correct contract costing.
  • Asset management including responsibility for company vans/transportation, accommodation, and managing company tools.
  • Financial oversight including raising purchase orders within procurement systems, matching invoices and quotes, and working closely with the finance team to maintain budget integrity.
  • System administration including acting as the company champion for the procurement system, ensuring deep understanding, proper documentation control, and managing system permissions and work-flows.
  • Team collaboration to feedback price changes and cost reports to the commercial team to improve costing accuracy.
  • Continuous improvement in procurement including innovation and efficiency in procurement processes, leveraging technology and methodologies to enhance sustainability and customer satisfaction.
