Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Leeds - Hybrid

Salary & Package: £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus and additional benefits

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a market leading business who are at the forefront of their industry and are looking for an up-and-coming procurement professional to join their team.

They are looking for people who have end to end procurement experience, but the main thing is someone who is wanting to grow and progress within procurement. They have two roles managing specific categories, but you will also support on ad-hoc projects across other categories from time to time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across your category of packaging or ingredients.
  • Build relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating and ensuring deals align with business activities.
  • Responsible for overall category management including SRM, Contract Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Negotiation.
  • Support and manage multiple projects from cradle to grave, driving strategy and communicating risks with the team & business.

Experience & Requirements

  • A few years minimum experience across end to end procurement.
  • Ideally from the Food Manufacturing industry but they are open to people from different industries!
  • Comfortable managing internal stakeholder and external supplier relationships.
  • Can undertake work and projects on their own initiative.
  • Ideally degree and/or CIPS qualified
