Procurement Manager

What would you be doing in this role?

  • Tendering out all soft & hard service providers annually and on-board new service providers and integrate within the business, ensuring that they meet contractor selection process and can provide relevant documentation required
  • Negotiate & agree all service provider SLA’s & KPI’s including any unfavourable terms, regularly reviewing to ensure that standards are always kept at the highest level
  • Ensure that SLA’s are in place as a group for on-site staff & maintenance teams
  • Each site within the group to have different suppliers based on the needs of the buildings and locations, as well as budgets, ensuring that the correct SLA’s are in place for each building and that the building manager & on site team know the process and sign off approval for these SLA’s
  • Regularly update the online contract database ensuring relevant documentation is logged at all times, including insurances, qualifications, certifications or accreditations etc….
  • Closely work alongside the OPS Manager to identify national partnership contracts
  • Oversee utility procurement to ensure on site contracts are in line with current market value & within contract, as well as keep track of renewal dates, renegotiating terms as and when required
  • Keep on top of budget and expenditure across the group
  • Implement alongside site managers any ESG strategies agreed at board level and track performance
  • Work closely with various management level staff on project reporting as and when required

Ideal candidate?

  • Previous Procurement experience
  • Good knowledge of contract law
  • Knowledge of litigation procedure (not essential but preferred)
  • The ability to build strong working relationships both internally and with external contract providers
  • Exceptional customer care
  • The ability to work at pace & with volume work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously at times
  • Strong integrity, morals & work ethic
