Summary

Our client is the largest member owned farm buying group in the UK, and they are seeking a Procurement Manager to deliver procurement strategies and outstanding service to members across their Energy portfolios. Key to this role is to drive process change to support the customer journey and motivate and support the team. The Procurement Manager will also be able to build strong supplier partnerships and negotiatecompetitive pricing deals. Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head of Utilities in leading the Energy team to deliver a seamless end-to-end member journey from procurement, on-boarding and through to supply of Energy products and services, including bill validation and query resolution.
  • Identify new business opportunities, increase member commitment and grow volumes.
  • Develop new supplier relationships and enhance existing relationships to build growth.
  • Contribute to business plans, budgeting, forecasting and performance reports.
  • Manage and develop the team to exceed business targets and KPI’s.

Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of procuring Energy within the agricultural industry advantageous
  • In depth knowledge of energy markets and pricing
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead a team, enthusiastic, motivated and approachable
  • CIPs (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 DOE
