Salary: £60,000-80,000 doe

Atkinson Moss are keen to hear from experienced Procurement Managers, to play a crucial role in the efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services to support our clients operation.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage and contribute to the team.

Brief summary about the role

  • On-going development of the purchasing strategy
  • Focus on cost reduction, value engineering, savings and efficiencies
  • Provide industry insight to internal stakeholders
  • Manage supplier relationships from selection to product availability
  • On-going review of supplier performance
  • Management of Purchasing Team including 1-2-1's and objective setting
  • Manage MRP for all direct inventory

About You

  • CIPS Qualified
  • At least 5 years people management experience.
  • Proficient in supplier sourcing, vendor appraisal, formal tenders and price negotiation.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work closely with other team members and to engage stakeholders.
  • Committed to upholding ethical standards and values, and to act with integrity.
