Your Role:
As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in our procurement process. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
1. Leading negotiations with suppliers ensuring the best terms are agreed
2. Be efficiency focussed. Continuously look for cost, time and resource saving opportunities and implement reduction initiatives. Keep our procurement process efficient and effective.
3. Be strategic in your approach to developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
4. Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders to forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and optimise turnover while minimizing stockouts.
5. Manage purchase orders meticulously—accuracy, timely delivery, and budget adherence are your forte.
6. Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks. Be prepared with contingency plans.
Ensure accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information. Regularly prepare insightful procurement reports.
