Title: Procurement Category Manager - IT (12 month FTC)

Location: UK - Flexible working options / locations available - Hybrid working

Salary & Package: £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Strong Benefits Package

They are an award winning, global powerhouse who are at the forefront of their industry, who have an unrivalled working culture and a best-in-class procurement function, who are hugely successful and have great relationships with internal stakeholders throughout the business.

They have some exciting projects / growth plans and they are keen to add a Procurement Category Manager - IT to the team. Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement, they are really looking for someone to hit the ground running from day one.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, applicants on a short notice / immediately available are highly preferable.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report directly into the Head of Procurement
  • Be an extra pair of hands to the IT Procurement team
  • Build and implement category plans, as well as delivering sub-category plans
  • Manage commercial suppliers, specifically focusing on Contract Management, Risk, KPIs & SLAs
  • Manage relationship with both internal & external stakeholders across both different suppliers and internal customers

Experience & Requirements

  • Exposure to IT categories, ideally Software, SaaS, Cloud, and IT Services
  • Category Management experience would be preferable
  • Experience within a similar sector would be preferred, however not at all essential
