Role: Procurement Business Partner
Rate: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum
Location: Lancashire
Contract: 6-month FTC
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Procurement Business Partner to join a Public Sector organisation in Lancashire on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role will have the opportunity to go permanent and benefits include flex-leave, site shutdown at Christmas and free on-site parking.
The Role:
- Provide procurement guidance and support to stakeholders, driving positive procurement activity throughout the organisation
- Promote best practice and deliver a business partnered approach to improve the service
- Work with the Head of Procurement to deliver all sourcing activities in the most effective manner
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and the supplier base
- Promote sustainability, whole life costing and ethical purchasing standards
- Produce procurement management information
- End to end tendering activity both above and below threshold
- Maintain procurement management system
The Person:
- Previous experience within the Public Sector
- PCR2015 knowledge
- Ability to work autonomously
- Available at short notice
- MCIPS or working towards
- Staff management desirable
