This position entails overseeing the daily purchasing activities of the company, guaranteeing that all acquired products are competitively priced, of superior quality, and procured following the Company's procedures and client expectations.

Client Details

A UK leading FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) provider specialising in offering comprehensive services that span from initial concept design and product sourcing to delivery, installation, and aftercare.

Description

  • Accurately enter clean orders into SageX3 and return any unclear orders to the corresponding Account Manager.
  • Generate necessary product codes for order processing.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to confirm lead times before placing orders to ensure optimal delivery schedules.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO) based on customer requests, and align with manufacturing and assembly timelines.
  • Vigilantly track PO progress until delivery confirmation and update Sage X3 with all pertinent details.
  • Proactively address supply chain delays by collaborating with Account Managers to find solutions.
  • Record order updates and relevant documents in HubSpot.
  • Liaise with Logistics to maintain clear communication with customers and manage expectations regarding supplier issues.
  • Regularly evaluate supplier performance and communicate findings to management.
  • Strengthen partnerships with suppliers for ongoing business enhancement.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge within the team and the supply chain, sharing insights with Sales as needed.
  • Ensure comprehensive supplier integration according to internal procedures.

Profile

  • Proficiency in Sage X3 and/or MRP software is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable position.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised and self-driven, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication abilities, aimed at building solid relationships both internally and externally, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • A collaborative attitude, willing to adapt and support within a tight-knit team framework.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with robust numerical competencies.
  • A methodical and diligent work ethic.
