Procurement Administrator (approx. 9 months Maternity Cover)

Salary - £12,967 to £15,255 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours - 22.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Location Postcode - DN4 5NU

As the Procurement Administrator, you will assist with day-to-day administrative duties, ensuring health and safety, service and quality expectations, and minimal environmental impact.

This vacancy is for a part-time position, working three days per week, Monday to Wednesday.

What will you be doing?

- Implement group procurement strategies, adhering to policies and procedures
- Develop relationships with suppliers and customers
- Provide analyses of information
- Escalate questions and problems
- Assist in the management of purchasing projects
- Maintain the procurement intranet page and monitor our existing supply base
- Complete account applications
- Authorise new suppliers
- Procure low-value ad hoc items
- Manage the administration of company mobile phones

Who we’re looking for

- Experience in administration
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- The ability to work independently, close to deadlines
- The ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- Attention to detail
