Job Role: Process Engineer
Location: Mansfield
Shift: Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

Metalis is sourcing for a Tooling or Mould engineer looking to move into Process Improvement to assist the Tooling department with the smooth operational flow of work.

This role will suit an individual who has 10+ years within industry or working on process improvement projects to deliver new ways of working, teach apprentices and implement new machinery and systems.

Job Duties:

  • Develop new procedures to support tooling activity.
  • Inspection of tooling using appropriate quality devices.
  • Strip down and rebuild of tooling when required.
  • Plan tooling maintenance schedules.
  • Report faults in tooling and fill in correct documentation.
  • Set, Program, and maintain efficient moulding production runs.
  • Support in the training and development in apprentices.
  • Push lead times where appropriate.
  • Be proactive in pushing a 5S culture.

Job Requirements:

  • You must have a high attention to detail for this role.
  • A strong communicator working with multiple departments.
  • Previous experience working within a quality environment.
  • Must be able to read technical drawings.
  • Strong sense of the importance of QHSE.
  • 10Years within Injection Moulding.
