Brand new opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer or skilled chemist to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation and assist in the manufacture of drug substances for a "big pharma" company.

In this role, you will apply subject matter expertise in production plant equipment and operations as a part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure successful technology transfer, pilot plant scale-up, and manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). You will inform process development activities, conduct risk assessments and generally support the overall delivery of safe and efficient medicines.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BEng and/or Meng degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or Chemistry
  • Proven experience of industrial manufacturing
  • Strong fundamental skills and problem solving capabilities
  • Prior experience in a GMP environment with pharmaceuticals is highly advantageous
