Process and Maintenance Engineer
Profile:
Working for a large established industrial agriculture and plant factory you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Role Summary:
You will maintain all production and plant equipment on a continuous improvement basis to ensure that corporate objectives are achieved in a fully effective and efficient manner.
Working pattern: Tuesday - Saturday 3pm - midnight
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained to an agreed standard.
- Fault find and fix any equipment as required whilst maintaining a focus on daily demands.
- Continually review production processes and equipment.
- Execute planned and preventative maintenance programmes on time and within budget.
- Participate in continuous improvement programmes.
- Monitor performance on all equipment against set KPI’s.
- Participate as a member of the Engineering team providing input to continuous improvement to make an effective contribution to the overall running of the business.
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced engineer in an FMCG packaging environment ideal
- Electrical bias with good mechanical knowledge
- Experienced in safety circuit, safety relays, inverter knowledge and 3 phase motors
- A good understanding of PLC knowledge for fault finding
- Knowledge of Mitsubishi FX and Q series - Omron would also be desirable
- Knowledge of flow-wrappers, weighers, baggers and checkweighers would be desirable
- Be self-motivated and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
