Private Patient Co-ordinator

Location: New Hall Hospital, Salisbury

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Salary: Starting salary from £22,700 PA + Benefits

Summary:

New Hall Hospital is one of Wiltshire's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Situated in 14 acres of quiet, landscaped parkland two miles south of Salisbury, the Georgian Manor House was opened as a hospital in 1980 and currently has 32 patient beds.

By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre suite is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements. The day unit is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy.

The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen at New Hall Hospital for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our Private Patient Team.


You will be responsible for handling enquiries, booking outpatient appointments and following up patients’ journey through to surgery. You will provide high levels of customer service when handling enquiries and providing quotes to potential Ramsay patients.


As the Private Patient Co-ordinator you will liaise with self-pay and medically insured patients, local hospital teams, Consultants and Medical Secretaries to grow private patient admissions. 


In addition to this, you will support the Private Patient Team by attending promotional events in line with our local and corporate business development strategies.


The working hours will be between Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and may include occasional evenings and weekends for promotional events.

Duties will include but are not limited to

  • Handle all enquiries and book appointments via telephone, email or social media

  • Provide detailed information to patient enquiries whilst delivering excellent customer service

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal hospital teams, consultants, medical secretaries and external stakeholders to ensure appointments are converted

  • Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress of their enquiry
