Job Title: Private PA/House Manager – Part Time
Location: Croft Warrington – on-site
Salary: £30-£35k pro rata’d dependent on experience
Hours: 5 days Monday – Friday – 32-35 hours a week
Suggested shifts -  09:00 –15:00 – can be flexible
Start date: ASAP
Driver with own car essential

We are looking for a professional Private Personal Assistant and House Manager for a private household based in Croft Cheshire.

Providing support for a busy household the successful applicant will be responsible for the upkeep of a large 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom home. The ideal applicant will be passionate about delivering a high standards and be loyal and carry out their duties with professionalism and trust.

The role will be working within a stable and lovely team which includes a nanny, stable staff and gardener.

Previous experience as a Private Personal Assistant and the ability to manage a large household is essential along with the willingness and passion to create a high standard environment and home.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be the main point of contact and right hand person for all matters relating to personal affairs offering comprehensive lifestyle management including but not limited to:-

  1. Diary and email management
  2. Holiday and travel arrangements
  3. Business travel arrangements including expenses and mileage
  4. Theatre and Event bookings
  5. Management of household utilities, insurances and bill payments
  6. Personal Shopping
  7. Household and family administration
  8. Management of vehicles – MOTs, insurance, Tax
  9. Experience with high end clothing and wardrobe management including dropping off and picking up dry cleaning
  10. Management of the household team
  11. Liaising with solicitors and accountants
  12. Renewals of memberships, passports and driving licenses
  13. Appointment bookings eg. medical, beauty, restaurants
  14. Management of the household laundry
  15. Dress house and ensure tidy and ready for visitors; keeping the house spotless, clean, organised and tidy at all times ensuring well-kept curtains and windows
  16. Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements required
  17. Reporting of any house maintenance issues, repairs and replacements whilst liaising with the gardeners/handymen
  18. Food shopping when needed and helping to cook if necessary
  19. Assisting with posting and receiving deliveries and groceries
  20. Holiday packing/unpacking
  21. Organisation of personal private events/birthdays/anniversaries/Christmas, – celebrations/parties ; decorating the house, wrapping presents and having a hands on approach to assisting all aspects of a smooth run celebration
  22. Assisting when the family entertain – e.g. dressing the dining room, setting tables, maintaining impeccable presentation standards
  23. Running Errands
  24. Willing to build a relationship with the children  - 2 boys age 14 and 9 and assist with them should it be necessary although there is a nanny as part of the team

Candidate Profile
  1. Proactive with attention to detail and commitment to getting the job done
  2. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  3. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  4. Excellent IT skills
  5. Good eye for detail
  6. Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters and sensitive information
  7. Must strive for high standards
  8. Hands-on approach, forward-thinking mindset, and reliability are essential
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to interact with all household staff and external contacts/visitors


The successful candidate will be somebody who is passionate for consistently achieving impeccable standards and will play an integral part in the household team.
This is a hands on role and the family are looking for someone they can trust and will be an extension of their family. Candidates must not be allergic to rabbits, dogs or horses, although it is a pet free household there are animals on the farm which is situated adjacent to the house.
