Private Client Tax Senior

Due to business growth, we currently have a new opportunity for a Private Client Tax Senior to join the firm. With a competitive salary, flexible and hybrid working, and a broad benefits package, this role is an integral part of the Private Client Tax function.
As Private Client Tax Senior, you will provide personal and trust tax compliance and associated advisory services to a variety of clients. You will also work closely with the Senior Managers, Directors and Partners, providing assistance for both compliance and advisory client work.
About the role:
- Stay updated on tax legislation; assist in team training.
- Support business development through research, article drafting, and networking.
- Draft advisory reports for manager review—both simple and aspects of complex cases.
- Lead compliance for a portfolio of clients (trusts and individuals); be the primary contact for simpler cases and review straightforward returns.
- Proactively seek opportunities for enhanced service and manage compliance workload throughout the year.
- Provide compliance support during peak times and on sporadic advisory opportunities.
- Contribute to building the firm's reputation in private client tax advisory through articles and HMRC consultations.
- Collaborate with other departments for mutual support; engage with HMRC, clients, and third parties as needed.
About you:
- ATT/ CTA qualification, or a similar professional qualification (QBE candidates may also be considered)
- Significant exposure to personal and private client tax in a specialist or mixed role
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Experience of working in a client-facing role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
- A passion for providing excellent customer service
- Ability to innovate and share ideas
- Demonstrate accuracy in technical work delivered
