TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a Private Client Tax Senior on behalf of a fantastic large, top 30, Sussex based firm of chartered accountants. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a Private Client Tax Senior to join a highly reputable accountancy practice in an autonomous and exciting career. 


Our client is a highly reputable and well known top 30 firm of chartered accountants based in Sussex with offices across the UK and a national, and international reach. They have a fantastic reputation, excellent culture and have seen significant growth over the last 5 years. They are now looking for a Private Client Tax Senior to join their team in a highly rewarding position. They prioritise their staff's welfare and offer a great flexible working environment.


Joining the firm at Private Client Tax Senior, with a clear path to progress, you will deliver personal tax advisory services to a wide-ranging client base of directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, wealthy individuals and wide-ranging private clients. You will be supported by a medium-sized and very experienced personal tax team, who are also complimented by a specialist corporate tax team too. 


The Private Client Senior role includes managing a portfolio of a diverse range of private clients and supporting supervisors and managers with completing tasks to deadline and liaising with clients. Your responsibilities will also include;


  • The day to day management of a portfolio of clients both in relation to client matters and internal administration;
  • reviewing tax returns and accompanying workings as drafted by junior staff;
  • obtaining missing information etc. from clients, third parties or elsewhere in the firm as appropriate;
  • Complete posting for complex or missing areas of tax returns or oversee this;
  • Prepare complex capital gains computations;
  • Provide on the job training for junior staff where possible and providing feedback on a timely basis.



Requirements
  • ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience operating at a senior level within Private Client Tax
  • Proven experience in client handling - ability to provide a high level of client relationship that is vital to this role.
  • Proven tax experience in producing high quality work on complex UK private client matters, within budget.
  • Tax experience from a practice background would be a distinct advantage, preferably within a top 100 or large independent firm.



Benefits

£35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
