Meraki Talent is working in collaboration with one of the UK’s largest Chartered Accountants on the position of Private Client Tax Director.
  
As the Private Client Tax Director, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advice to clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners.

Our client is one of the most recognisable names on the UK Accountancy market. They employ over 1000 people across several offices and have a formidable reputation for providing high-quality work and building long-lasting relationships with clients.
  
The firm provides all traditional disciplines you would expect of a large CA Practice such as Audit, Business Services/Advisory (Accounts), Corporate Finance, Payroll Bureau, and Tax. The Tax department has had a particularly busy year over the past 12 months with tremendous growth of the PCT portfolio across the firm.
  
The Role:
  
You will lead a mixed experienced team consisting of both junior and experienced Tax professionals. The setup consists of Assistants, Assistant Managers, Managers, and Senior Managers. As Director you will be expected to manage the Management team in a way that not only services clients but allows the junior team members under Manager’s responsibility to flourish and grow and ultimately become the managers of tomorrow.
  
  • Manage and lead a team of tax professionals in the delivery of private client tax advice and compliance services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent client service and identifying opportunities to provide value-added services.
  • Provide technical tax advice on a range of issues, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation.
  • Identify and manage tax risk within the private client portfolio.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate the impact of these changes to clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in business development activities, including attending events, presenting to clients, and identifying opportunities to grow the private client tax practice.
  
Experience:
  
  • Highly experienced Tax professional, operating at Manager grade or above.
  • CTA/ATT or CA qualified.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Business development experience and a history of identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrable experience in providing private client tax advice and compliance services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK taxation, particularly in relation to private clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
