Job Title: Private Client Solicitor
Location: Cambridge Office
Salary: DOE and PQE
Hours: Full Time, 9-5
Firm: Mid-size Established

  • Qualified Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer: You should hold the relevant qualifications and have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Private Client Expertise: You must be proficient in handling a diverse range of Private Client work including wills, powers of attorney and probate matters.
  • Independence: The role requires the ability to work independently.
  • Business Development: You should be capable of building a network and generating a caseload to further develop the department.
  • Client Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong client relationships is essential.


  • Office Based Work - You will need to attend the office five days a week although there is scope for flexible working in the future.
  • Positive Attitude: The firm is looking for someone with a friendly, conscientious and approachable person with a positive outlook.
  • Office Comfort: The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working independently in an office setting.
  • Calm Under Pressure: You'll need to be comfortable dealing with difficult situations while maintaining a calm demeanour.
  • Motivated: The firm is seeking individuals who are highly motivated and committed to their work.
  • Driver's License: A driver's license is preferred, as there may be occasional travel between offices or client meetings
  • Private Client Expertise: Ideally, you will be STEP qualified but this is not essential.
