Achieve Professionals are seeking a motivated Solicitor/ Legal Executive with 2+ PQE to join a well-established growing law firm in Exeter. There may be opportunities to work from our other offices if there is a connection.

Position: Private Client Solicitor

Location: Axminster, Honiton, Sidmouth, Launceston, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Paignton

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years PQE
  • Experience in the area of Will drafting, lifetime IHT and CGT advice for high net worth individuals
  • Some experience in advising on and drafting trusts preferably to include Disabled Persons Trusts and advice regarding collapsing of trusts
  • Solid working knowledge of advising clients who have agricultural and or/ business assets (or willing to develop)
  • Experience in advising on domicile and related issues
  • Aware of current issues and updates

  • Professional, organised, competent, enthusiastic and ambitious
  • Produce high quality service
  • Access to own transport for work use for the purposes of home visits and inter office travel on occasion
  • Maintain excellent file administration and work successfully with other Lawyers and support staff
  • Experience of working independently in the area of private client will be essential
  • A willingness to support and develop other lawyers within the team would be encouraged
  • An interest in the promotion and development of the firm including maintaining its high reputation
