WSP Solicitors, a well-established legal practice with a history spanning over 250 years, is looking for a Private Client Solicitor to join our growing team. We are dedicated to providing a range of personal and commercial legal services and are committed to the development of our staff, improving technology, and building a positive working culture.

Day to Day of the role:

Preparation of Wills, including those aimed at asset protection and tax mitigation.

Administration of Estates for business and private clients.

Engage in Lifetime and Post-Death Tax Planning.

Draft and register Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection Orders.

Contribute to the firm’s marketing efforts, including article drafting, PR, business development, social media, and networking activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Circa 3 years PQE in Private Client work.

STEP or SFE qualification preferred but not essential.

Strong understanding of Wills, estate planning, trusts, and administration of estates.

Knowledge of Lasting Powers of Attorney and specialist advice for elderly clients.

Excellent written communication skills using correct grammar and plain English.

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, IT proficiency.

Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and a strong team player with a balance between technical ability and commercial awareness.
