This opportunity involves being able to assist in the creation of a specialist department and contributing significantly to the growth and success of the firm. Conveniently located near motorway access, the railway station, and bus routes, the office provides easy commuting options.
The firm is able and currently able to generate work involving;
- Lasting Power of Attorney
- Trusts
- Probate & Estate Administration
- Last Will & Testament
- Secure Storage of your Will
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a probate practitioner managing own case load.
- Admitted solicitor with a practising certificate
- Private client experience required.
- Provide legal advice and assistance to clients, particularly in probate matters.
- Assess clients' legal issues, analyse applicable laws and regulations, and offer guidance on legal rights, obligations, and potential courses of action.
- Meet annual billing and performance targets.
- Research and analyse relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and file court documents and other legal documents related to probate and estate administration.
- Ensure compliance with Money Laundering Regulations and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Advise clients on the best course of action in probate and estate administration matters.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
- Maintain client files and records.
- Liaise with other legal professionals and external parties as required.
- Develop and enhance a Probate team.
- Maintain and enhance up-to-date legal skills of self and teams.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Financial control regarding client funds and billing procedures.
- Monitor compliance and statutory duties within the firm
