Private Banking Relationship Manager
A Private Bank in London is looking for an experienced Relationship Manager with strong business development skills to build relationships with professional intermediaries and prospective and existing customers, as well as managing a portfolio of customers
Ensuring that services and the customer outcomes achieved are managed within regulation, process and both protects the Bank and customers to ensure meet regulatory needs.
Act as the point of reference to stakeholders across the Bank.
You need to be a proactive self-starter, possessing entrepreneurial flair, with a desire to constantly develop.
Able to develop effective relationships internally with all departments of the bank, and to communicate well with internal stakeholders regarding progress and any challenges.
Highly articulate, with a good command of English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Able to balance the demands of business development and the management of existing customer relationships.
Ensure service excellence, protect the bank by implementing an effective control environment. This role is subject to regulated activity, Conduct Rules set by the FCA/PRA and such ongoing training and competence requirements as required by the FCA/PRA and the bank from time to time.
To apply you should have a proven track record of successful relationship management or looking to progress to a relationship manager from Private Banking/Corporate Banking.
Strong credit skills: able to manage routine lending propositions, the ability to generate new business through networking and customer management.
Ideally educated to degree standard with ACIB/BSc in Financial Services or equivalent.
CeMAP qualification ideally and a desire to undertake other relevant professional qualifications.
