Print Operative - Large Format and Display

An experienced large format and display Print Operative is needed to join the team in Huntingdon at this leading independent marketing services business that provides sophisticated marketing collateral and print fulfillment services to organisations and leading brands across the UK.

About the Role

They are looking for someone to use large format digital print machinery to produce graphics onto various rigid and roll to roll substrates. Print/ finishing and assisting with exhibition stand builds when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for performing all aspects of large format print preparation and production
• Using various printing machines to produce graphics on a variety of substrates
• Maintaining the machines
• Quality control the printing and finishing process on a daily basis.
• Ensuring clients tight deadlines are met as part of the Display Services Team
• Installation of graphics and displays when necessary
• Amending, checking and pre-flighting artwork advantageous 
• Possibility of stand builds if required

Required skills: 

• General print production 
• Knowledge in working on and running large format print and finishing machinery essential
• Mounting and finishing
• Knowledge on automated cutting table ideal
• Knowledge of industry standard rip software
• Pre-press and pre-flight experience useful
