MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected printing company based in the Washington area.
The Role:
- Working in a commercial printing setting.
- Working as a print finisher, finishing all prints to a high quality.
- Using a guillotine to finish prints.
- Setting the guillotine to cut and finish prints to the correct specifications.
- Using machines to fold prints and some elements of folding by hand.
- Using a large format print machine
- Dealing with bespoke customer orders and following tight deadlines.
- Completing paper work, making sure each stage of production has been met.
- General housekeeping duties carried out, making sure own area is kept clean and tidy.
- Strict daily targets and deadlines, which are monitored by team leader.
The Person:
- Candidate should have experience of working in a fast-paced printing environment.
- A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
- Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
- Focused on quality and excellence of end product.
- Motivated to meet targets and deadlines.
- Working either independently or within a team.
- Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company.
- Be energetic and enthusiastic, proactively offering proposals.
- Achieve team objectives.
- Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.

The hours:
- 08:00am to 16:30pm
- 06:00am to 14:00pm / 14:00pm to 22:00pm
- Must be flexible if it goes onto shifts.
The Pay:
- £12 to £14 per hour
