An exciting secondment opportunity to lead, develop, deliver and evaluate all aspects of Pharmacy staff education and training , alongside associated performance / outcomes within the Pharmacy Department at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust (CHS). The post-holder will provide a co-ordinated, highly effective training service for the pharmacy department and other areas within the Trust.
The post holder will provide strategic leadership to training programs in Pharmacy, to ensure they are in line with Department of Health, Heath Education England (HEE) and the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) requirements, along with leading, developing and implementing changes in the pre-registration trainee programme, rotational foundation pharmacist program (including the Clinical Pharmacy Diploma) and pre-registration trainee technician programme. They will be responsible for the provision of professional leadership and advice on all Pharmacy training and development issues and the preparation of strategic plans for Pharmacy training and development.
They will also deliver a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to promote the safe, rational and cost-effective use of medicines, through personal practice and the training of other staff.
