My client, a specialist UK based Architectural and Civil Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their design team based in Portsmouth.

It is essential that applicants have a BSc/BEng or an MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering and have achieved or are working towards Chartered status.

It is also essential for applicants to have experience completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and detailed residential drainage and road designs for S278, S104 and S106 using Microdrainage, PDS and Civils 3D.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects and mentoring team members.

Typically the role will involve the following;

-Infrastructure and Residential Development Projects.
-Drainage and Highways Designs in respect of Section 38 and Section 278 Schemes using Microdrainage and PDS for Residential Developments.
-Minor Road and Junction Design for Residential Developments using AutoTrack.
-SuDS and Sewerage Designs using Microdrainage in respect of Section 104.
-Calculations, Reports and Surveys.
-Feasibility Studies.
-Train and Mentor the existing design Team.
-Checking,Highways and Drainage Designs.
-Promote the services of the Company and develop new business opportunities.
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Contractors and Housing Developers.
