Exterior Visibility Systems Principal Engineer (Lamps, Wiper, Mirror) - 0831 - £30.78/hr PAYE

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking an Exterior Visibility Systems Principal Engineer (Lamps, Wiper, Mirror) to join our client's inclusive and friendly team. This is a 12-month contract, and the role comes with a favourable rate of £30.78 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35).

As an Exterior Visibility Systems Principal Engineer (Lamps, Wiper, Mirror), you will work with styling, project management, purchasing, testing and manufacturing departments to take exterior visibility parts from design concept to manufacture.

To give you an idea of how this Exterior Visibility Systems Principal Engineer (Lamps, Wiper, Mirror) role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Development of exterior visibility parts to meet the design spec and styling intention
• Design release of parts on time and budget
• Supplier test plan and quality management to achieve design standards
• Clear and concise reporting of concerns and part development/delivery issues

To apply for this role, you'll nee experience in exterior lighting, mirrors, wash and/or wiper systems (advantageous but not essential). You'll also require:

• Understanding and skill in mechanical engineering
• The ability to multitask effectively within a team environment to manage priorities
