We have a great opportunity with a Consultancy client who are looking for a Principal Consultant to join their London Market / Speciality Insurance division.

The London insurance market is going through major transformation and evolution at the moment, in all areas from moving to more modern technology to improving Underwriting Operations, reviewing regulatory requirements (such as the Solvency II reforms) and changing the design and business architecture that underpin the way all the organisations within it operate.

This offers an excellent opportunity to lead change across top underwriters, brokers and Lloyds itself, whilst also growing a very successful consultancy practice even further and becoming a thought leader in this space.

The role is split between change delivery (60%) and business development (40%) through utilisation of your own network and contacts.

Key experience required includes:

  • Strong experience working in the London Insurance Market / Specialty Insurance
  • Broad understanding across underwriting operations, insurance technology solutions and regulatory requirements
  • Strong Project delivery experience
  • Business Architecture skills such as business design, creation of Target Operating Models, High level process mapping etc
  • Commercial experience working with external clients and developing new business opportunities through utilisation of your network and contacts
  • Experience facing off to senior management teams on large change programmes


This is a permanent role that is London based and offers Hybrid working as well as a competitive salary, strong bonuses and commission as well as other benefits.
