Principal Arboriculturist

Bennett and Game currently have the pleasure of representing a well-established, award winning, multi-disciplinary practice local to Thetford, who are seeking an ambitious Principal Arboriculturist to join their ever-growing team. Out client is built up of multiple specialists, who provide a variety of services including Arboriculture, Ecology, Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Arboriculturist to work directly with an extensive and diverse portfolio of clients.

This team are involved at all stages of the design process from conceptual and feasibility studies, through to planning applications, detailed design, specification, implementation, and contract administration.

Our client has a diverse portfolio of projects across predominantly strategic and detailed residential schemes. You will be working on a wide variety of projects giving you a great foundation of knowledge to build your experience and professional career on. Our client are open to candidates of both an intermediate and senior, level therefore we encourage candidates of all levels to apply.

Principal Arboriculturist Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary, ranging between £35,000 to £45,000

Principal Arboriculturist Position Overview

• Carrying out tree surveys and inspections
• Liaising with clients and other professionals
• Undertake supervision and monitoring of sites and monitoring of development works surrounding retained trees
• Growing the Arboriculture team

Principal Arboriculturist Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years industry experience
• Certified Arborist designation or equivalent credentials
• Full drivers' licence
• Proficiency in arboricultural assessment tools and software (AutoCAD and Axiscape Software)
